The Hyryder, introduced as part of the Suzuki-Toyota alliance, shares its platform with the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara. Priced between Rs 11.14 lakh and Rs 17.54 lakh (ex-showroom), the SUV caters to diverse customer needs with various powertrain options, including petrol and strong hybrid configurations. Buyers can opt for a 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine delivering 102bhp and 137Nm of torque, a CNG variant of the same engine, or a robust hybrid system combining a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor, generating 91bhp and 122Nm of torque. Transmission choices for the mild-hybrid version include a five-speed manual or a six-speed automatic gearbox.

The dashboard design of the Toyota model closely resembles that of the Baleno and Glanza. The strong hybrid variant boasts a black-and-brown interior theme, while the mild hybrid models feature an all-black cabin. The SUV has advanced features, including ventilated front seats, paddle shifters, ambient lighting, smartphone and smartwatch connectivity, and a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Additional highlights include a heads-up display, a panoramic sunroof, and wireless charging. On the safety front, the Hyryder offers an impressive suite of features such as vehicle stability control, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and up to six airbags.
