Toyota has announced a price revision for the Rumion, a rebadged iteration of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. With an upward adjustment of Rs 10,000, the ex-showroom price of the Rumion now begins at Rs 10.54 lakh and goes up to Rs 13.83 lakh. Both mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures. This increase is uniformly applied across all trims of the model (S, G, and V). The MPV can be had in five unique colour options: Cafe White, Enticing Silver, Rustic Brown, Iconic Grey, and Spunky Blue. In the market, the Rumion MPV rivals the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and XL6 in its segment.
Toyota Rumion: Design Details
Although the Toyota Rumion is built on the same platform as the Ertiga, it incorporates several distinctive design elements that set it apart visually from the well-known MPV.

It sports a revamped front grille with a mesh pattern, replacing the original projector headlamps on either side. Both the front and rear bumpers have been redesigned, and the model also features newly styled alloy wheels. Furthermore, the Rumion is available in India as a seven-seater variant.

Under the hood, the Toyota Rumion is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine, featuring Neo Drive (ISG) technology. It belts out 102bhp of maximum power and 138Nm of peak torque. This unit is coupled to a five-speed manual or an automatic torque converter gearbox, sending power to the front wheels. Customers can also opt for a CNG option, which delivers 87bhp and 121Nm of torque with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The family-oriented MPV provides a fuel efficiency of 20.5km/l, matching that of the Maruti Suzuki counterpart. Meanwhile, the CNG variant, equipped with a factory-fitted kit, achieves an impressive mileage of 26.11km/kg.
Toyota Rumion: Features
The interior of the Toyota Rumion is designed with faux wood accents adorning its dual-tone black and beige dashboard. It is equipped with several comfort-enhancing features, including cruise control, automatic climate control, and a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

On the safety front, the MPV comes with dual front airbags, side airbags, ABS with EBD, and an Electronic Stability Program (ESP).
