Toyota Innova Hycross Waiting Period Reaches 9 Months in India

The waiting period for the Toyota Innova Hycross has reached up to nine months in India, reflecting the strong demand for this popular MPV. As consumers continue to seek reliable and spacious family vehicles, the Innova Hycross stands out with its blend of modern features, advanced technology, and versatility. This extended waiting time is particularly notable for the hybrid variants, which have garnered significant interest. The automaker has recently improved the model's supply, leading to reduced waiting times for the MPV. As of October 2024, the Innova Hycross has a waiting period of up to 9 months (35 weeks) for hybrid variants, while those choosing petrol versions may face a wait of up to 7 months (26 weeks) from the date of placing the booking. This represents a notable decrease from the previous waiting period of 14 months (56 weeks) recorded in August this year.

The Toyota Innova Hycross comes in six variants: GX, GX (O), VX, VX (O), ZX, and ZX (O). It is available in both seven and eight-seat configurations. Customers can also choose from seven colour options, including Super White, Attitude Black Mica, Avant-garde Bronze Metallic, Silver Metallic, Sparkling Black Pearl Crystal Shine, Platinum White Pearl, and Blackish Ageha Glass Flake.
Toyota Innova Hycross: Features
The Toyota MPV is packed with an extensive range of features, such as wireless phone charging, dual-zone climate control, a digital driver's display, a panoramic sunroof, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It also includes ventilated front seats and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). On the safety front, the vehicle is equipped with airbags, ABS with EBD, a rearview camera, rear parking sensors, electronic stability control, and hill start assist.

Toyota Innova Hycross: Powertrain Options
The Hycross offers two engine choices: a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated (NA) petrol engine and a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, strong hybrid setup. The strong hybrid, paired with an e-CVT transmission, produces 183bhp, with the engine generating 188Nm of torque and the electric motor providing 206Nm. In contrast, the petrol-only version comes with a CVT gearbox, delivering 173bhp and 209Nm of peak torque. According to the manufacturer, the petrol variant achieves a fuel efficiency of 16.13km/l, while the hybrid variant boasts an impressive 23.24km/l.
