Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) rolled out the Hycross MPV in the Indian market in December last year. The model is available in seven paint jobs: Super White, Silver Metallic, Blackish Ageha Glass Flake, Platinum White Pearl, Sparkling Black Pearl Crystal Shine, and Attitude Black Mica. Speaking of the pricing details, the popular Hycross currently retails at Rs 19.67 lakh (ex-showroom). In a recent development, the waiting period for the car which earlier stood at 100 weeks has been significantly reduced. For the hybrid versions, the Innova Hycross MPV now has a waiting period of up to 70 weeks. However, it should be noted that the automaker is not taking reservations for the top-of-the-line ZX and ZX(O) versions. Furthermore, there is a 35-week waiting period for Hycross's gasoline-powered variants.

Toyota Price Hike
A price hike across the board for all of its models was announced by the Japanese auto major last month. The company indicated that the jump is due to growing input costs. The Toyota lineup in our country includes a variety of different models, including the Glanza, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder, the Innova Hycross, the Fortuner, the Legender, the Vellfire, and the Land Cruiser LC300. The automaker raised the cost of the Innova Hycross by up to Rs 46,000. The prior pricing had been revised upward by up to Rs. 27,000 in May, and this was the second price increase in the past three months.
Toyota Innova Hycross: Engine Specs
The Toyota Innova Hycross is offered in five different configurations: G, GX, VX, ZX, and ZX (O). It is built on the Toyota New Global Architecture (TNGA) platform. There is a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, strong hybrid fifth-gen TNGA engine as well as a standard 2.0-litre gasoline engine under the hood. The units are coupled to an electric CVT and a regular CVT transmission, respectively. Fuel efficiency for the hybrid model comes in at 21.1km/l, which is probably the best in class. Along with the engine, the Innova Hycross has two electric motors as well.
The first motor propells the vehicle forward on electric power, whereas the second, or bigger, motor supplies power to the primary engine while also charging the battery pack via regenerative braking. The Innova Hycross can accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in 9.5 seconds.

Toyota Innova Hycross: Rivals and Features
The Toyota Innova Hycross's interior features include a 10-inch dashboard-mounted touchscreen infotainment system, a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats, ambient lighting, multi-zone climate control, an electric tailgate, and a nine-speaker JBL music system. The middle row of the MPV is electrically powered as well.
The Hycross, which competes with vehicles like the Innova Crysta, the Mahindra XUV700, the Hyundai Alcazar, the MG Hector Plus, and the Tata Safari and serves as a little more inexpensive alternative to the Kia Carnival, further solidifies Toyota's dominance in the MPV market.
