Toyota Innova Crysta Becomes Expensive By Rs 10,000 in India

The Toyota Innova Crysta has a 2.4-litre diesel engine that produces 148bhp and 343Nm and is mated to a five-speed manual transmission.

Toyota Innova Crysta GX+ Variant

The Toyota Innova Crysta is a versatile MPV that has garnered popularity among Indian families and businesses owing to its roomy cabin, comfort, and reliability. It starts at 19.99 lakh and is available in several models (G, GX, GX Plus, VX, and ZX). During this festive season, the price of the MPV increased by up to Rs 10,000 in our market. However, only the Crysta GX+ variant, added to the lineup in May this year (ex-showroom), is subject to this price hike. The model comes in both seven and eight-seat configurations. Following the price increase, the 7-seater GX+ model starts at Rs 21.49 lakh, while the 8-seater model is priced at Rs 21.54 lakh. Both are ex-showroom prices.

The Toyota Innova Crysta GX+ has a clean, modern look, similar to other models in the range. However, it distinguishes itself with a silver surround piano black grille, and 17-inch diamond-cut alloys. As for the colours, this variant offers five different options: Silver Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Attitude Black Mica, Avant-Garde Bronze Metallic, and Super White.

In terms of powertrain, the GX+ variant has a 2.4-litre diesel engine and a 5-speed manual gearbox as the standard model. This unit develops 148bhp and 343Nm of performance numbers. 

The ex-showroom price of the Toyota Innova Crysta in India ranges between Rs 19.99 lakh and Rs 26.55 lakh. The MPV has no direct rivals, but it serves as an alternative to models like the Mahindra Marazzo, the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, the Tata Harrier, and the Kia Carens.

Recent Highlights

To mark the festive season, Toyota has introduced festive editions of its several cars including the Rumion, Glanza, Taisor, and Urban Cruiser Hyryder. The Rumion Festive Edition includes a special Toyota Genuine Accessory (TGA) package worth up to Rs 20,608. The Glanza Festival Edition, on the other hand, comes with a dealer-fitted Toyota Genuine Accessory (TGA) package valued at Rs 20,567. The Urban Cruiser Hyryder Festive Edition features accessories of up to Rs 50,817, while the Taisor Festive Edition is available with accessories amounting to Rs 20,160.
