Toyota Hyryder Waiting Period Reaches 43 Weeks in India
The waiting period for Toyota's extremely popular product, the Hyryder has gone down significantly. For the strong-hybrid versions, the Toyota Hyryder currently has a waiting period of up to 43 weeks. The mild-hybrid (Neo Drive) variations, however, have a waiting period of up to 35 weeks.

For the strong-hybrid versions, the Toyota Hyryder currently has a waiting period of up to 43 weeks. The mild-hybrid (Neo Drive) variants have a waiting period of up to 35 weeks. From the time of reservation, buyers who opt for the CNG variants would have to wait for 34 weeks. For the uninitiated, the waiting period for the model was 78 weeks last month. The starting price for the SUV in India is Rs 10.86 lakh (ex-showroom). The car is available in four trim levels – E, S, G, and V. Further, customers can choose from four dual-tone and seven monotone colour options – Cafe White, Enticing Silver, Gaming Grey, Sportin Red, Midnight Black, Cave Black, Speedy Blue, Sportin Red with Midnight Black, Enticing Silver with Midnight Black, Speedy Blue with Midnight Black, and Cafe White with Midnight Black.

Toyota Hyryder: Rivals
The Hyundai Creta, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Kia Seltos, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor, Volkswagen Taigun, and Citroen C3 Aircross are some of the competitors of the Hyryder in the Indian market.
Toyota Hyryder: Engine and Transmission
The 1.5-litre TNGA Atkinson Cycle engine in the Toyota SUV is coupled to an eCVT transmission and has a maximum power output of 92bhp and 122Nm of torque. The engine is connected to an electric motor, which produces 79bhp and 141Nm of torque, giving the car a 114bhp total power output. The powerful hybrid drivetrain, according to the carmaker, provides a fuel economy of 27.97km/l. The system's battery is a 117.6V lithium-ion unit.
The Hyryder is also offered with a mild hybrid powertrain. It has the same 1.5-litre K15C engine that powers the Brezza and Ertiga. The Neo Drive motor, which produces 103bhp of maximum power and 137Nm of peak torque, can be paired with either a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox or a five-speed manual gearbox.
Toyota Hyryder: Design and Interior Features
The popular Toyota SUV stands out in terms of design, thanks to the stylish double-layer Daytime Running lights that are integrated into the Crystal Acrylic grille. From the side, the car resembles a standard SUV, with pronounced Hybrid insignia on the doors. At the back, it gets slim C-shaped taillights with dual C-shaped LED components. The SUV is available in seven single-tone and four dual-tone exterior colour combinations.
The Toyota Hyryder's interior dashboard is identical to that of the Baleno and Glanza. The colour scheme of the cabin is black and brown, which looks appealing and is more practical than Beige. However, the powerful hybrid variant is the only one that is offered with the brown and black combination. The mild hybrid models' interiors get an all-black interior. The standard features of Toyota's small SUV include ambient lighting, paddle shifters, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, ventilated front seats, and smartphone and smartwatch compatibility. Additionally, it includes a panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, and a heads-up display.

Toyota Hyryder: Safety Set
In terms of safety, it gets up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, a 360-degree camera, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), vehicle stability control, and all-wheel disc brakes.
