The final month of FY25 saw the familiar manufacturers dominating the two-wheeler market, with Hero MotoCorp regaining the top position from its closest rival, Honda, which had outperformed it in February. Meanwhile, TVS and Bajaj maintained their February rankings. Each of these leading brands holds a significant share of the Indian two-wheeler market, with a diverse portfolio that caters to the needs of diverse buyers. Hero MotoCorp
Hero MotoCorp posted sales of 5.07 lakh units in the previous month, showing a growth of 10.93% from the 4.57 lakh units sold in March 2024. The company also saw a remarkable 41.80% rise in sales on a month-on-month basis (3.57 lakh units).
Hero has expanded its Indian portfolio with the launch of the Xpulse 210 and Xtreme 250R.
Honda

Honda emerged as the second-best-selling brand in March 2025, with a total of 4.01 lakh units sold. This was a notable 12.08% increase compared to the 3.58 lakh units sold in the same month last year. On a month-on-month (MoM) basis, the brand saw a steady growth of 4.56%, reinforcing its stronghold in the competitive two-wheeler market.
TVS

TVS sold 2.98 lakh units in March, which is a 14.24% increase from the 2.61 lakh units sold in March of the previous year. The company also saw a 7.81% month-on-month growth from February 2025's 2.76 lakh units. This consistent growth underscores TVS's expanding market share and the effectiveness of its product strategy, significantly boosted by the launch of the new Rs 76,691 OBD2B-compliant Jupiter 110.
Bajaj

Bajaj demonstrated notable growth on both a year-on-year and month-on-month basis. With 1.84 lakh units sold, the brand experienced a slight uptick compared to March 2024. Notably, the company saw a significant 25.68% increase in sales from February 2025, when it sold 1.46 lakh units.
Suzuki

Suzuki ranked fifth on the list, with 1.07 lakh units sold, representing an impressive 22.71% growth compared to the 86,164 units sold in March last year.

In terms of month-on-month, the company saw a remarkable 43.95% rise from the 73,455 units sold in the month of February 2025.
