Since it arrived in the domestic market, the Tata Tiago has earned significant popularity. So much so that the Indian carmaker launched the CNG variants of the compact hatchback to cater to a wide range of customers. As a result, the car has been commanding a lengthy waiting period for some time now. However, it has currently gone down. The Tata model's CNG versions have the longest waiting duration, even longer than the petrol versions. Buyers intending to purchase the former will have to wait up to six weeks from the day of booking, whereas the latter mandates a waiting period of two to four weeks. The aforementioned time frame applies to reservations placed in Mumbai and is subject to vary based on the dealer, model, colour option, gearbox, and other variables.

Tata Tiago: Powertrain Options

Technically speaking, the hatchback is propelled by a 1.2-litre petrol mill with a maximum power output of 85bhp and a peak torque of 113Nm. Either a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission can be mated with this engine.

The engine of the CNG versions, on the other hand, has a single five-speed manual transmission with a maximum power output of 72bhp and 95Nm of torque. The car comes in five eye-catching exterior colour options. These include Flame Red, Midnight Plum, Opal White, Daytona Grey, and Arizona Blue.

Tata Tiago: Interior and Safety Features

A digital driver's display, automated climate control, an 8-speaker sound system, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and other conveniences are among the features of the vehicle. It has dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and cornering stability control for enhanced safety.
