Tata Motors is offering attractive discounts on the Tiago hatchback for potential buyers. The Indian automotive giant has rolled out discounts on this model, which can total up to Rs 75,000. These incentives, available until the end of the month, include exchange bonuses and cash savings.
Delving into the details, the CNG versions come with benefits of up to Rs 75,000, which includes a Rs 15,000 exchange bonus and a cash discount of up to Rs 60,000. The petrol models, on the other hand, are eligible for a cash discount of up to Rs 40,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 15,000. Tata Tiago: Mechanical Specs and Features
In terms of technical specifications, the hatchback is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that delivers a maximum power output of 85bhp and a peak torque of 113Nm. This engine can be paired with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission.
Meanwhile, the CNG variants' engine delivers 72bhp of peak power and 95Nm of torque and is paired to a single five-speed manual gearbox. The car is available in five striking exterior colours – Arizona Blue, Daytona Grey, Opal White, Flame Red, and Midnight Plum.
Tata Tiago, Tigor iCNG with Automatic Transmission Launched
In other news, prices for the automatic versions of the CNG-powered Tigor sedan and the Tiago hatchback have been disclosed by the firm. The Tigor iCNG automatic is available in two variants: the entry-level XZA model costs Rs 8.85 lakh, while the most expensive XZA+ variant is priced at Rs 9.55 lakh. The Tiago iCNG automatic hatchback is available in four different variants – XTA, XZA+, XZA+ DT, and XZA NRG – which are priced between Rs 7.90 lakh and Rs 8.80 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom.
The CNG variants of the Tigor and the Tiago now come with a five-speed manual and a five-speed automatic gearbox options, making them the first CNG vehicles in India to be sold with an automatic gearbox from the manufacturer. Tata claims that the CNG automated cars will provide better low-speed driveability in stop-and-go and slow-moving traffic. Both models have a claimed mileage of 28.06km/kg.
Both models are now also available in new exterior colours. The Tigor is offered in a new Meteor Bronze colour, while the Tiago and Tiago NRG get new colours called Tornado Blue and Grassland Beige. The segment-first dual-cylinder layout of the Tata Tiago and Tigor CNG allows for more cargo space than other competing CNG vehicles. They also get features like auto air conditioning, an eight-speaker setup, a semi-digital instrument cluster, and a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, along with dual front airbags, a tyre pressure monitor, a rear defogger, and a rear parking camera with sensors. Tata’s CNG line-up in India currently includes the Tiago, Tigor, Altroz, and Punch.
