Tata Tiago Attracts Discounts of up to Rs 35,000 in June

The Tata Tiago hatchback is available with attractive discounts for this month. It was modified a while ago to meet the new RDE and BS6 Phase 2 emission norms. Let's have a closer look at the offers available on this hatchback.

A few Tata Motors dealerships across the country are offering a range of offers across the lineup for June. The Tata Tiago, which was just modified to achieve BS6 Phase 2 certification, is now available with several attractive discounts. The hatchback is eligible for a cash discount of up to Rs 20,000, a corporate discount of Rs 5,000, and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 this month. In our market, the hatchback comes in five variants: XE, XM, XT(O), XT, XZ, and XZ+. Talking of the features, Tata has equipped the hatchback with a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a rear wiper defogger, projector headlights with LED DRLs, and more. The model also has an eight-speaker sound system, a cooled glovebox, and automatic climate control. Mechanically, the hatchback is driven by a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which produces 84bhp of power and 113Nm of torque. It comes paired with a five-speed manual or an AMT gearbox.

Tata Motors Sales May 2023

Tata Motors announced selling a total of 74,973 units in the domestic and overseas markets in the previous month, a drop from 76,210 vehicles sold in May 2022, which resulted in a year-over-year downfall of 2%. Speaking of the Passenger vehicle segment, the homegrown automaker reported dispensing 45,878 units in the domestic market in May 2023, compared to the 43,341 units sold at the same time in 2022, registering a rise of 6%. Both cars with internal combustion engines (ICE) and electric vehicles (EV) are included in it. Further, the overall sales of passenger vehicles, according to Tata Motors, including electric vehicles, reached 45,984 units, denoting a growth of 6%. 

In the electric car segment, Tata Motors reported a considerable increase in sales. The sales rose 66% from 3,505 units in May 2022 to 5,805 units in May 2023. According to industry reports, the Nexon EV Prime, Nexon EV Max, Tiago EV, and Tigor EV all contributed to this sales growth.

Tata Nexon EV MAX XZ+ LUX Variant Launched in India

In a recent development, Tata Motors introduced a new variant of its popular Nexon EV in India. The recently launched Tata Nexon EV MAX XZ+ LUX variant has been priced at Rs18.79 lakh (ex-showroom) in our market. Besides this, the homegrown carmaker also introduced a new 7.2 kW AC Fast Charger variant, priced at Rs 19.29 lakh (ex-showroom, India). The all-new model has a revised User Interface (UI) and a larger, 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system from Harman. For those unaware, the Tata Nexon EV has two variants: Prime and Max. The cost of the Nexon EV Max ranges between Rs 16.49 lakh and Rs 19.54 lakh, whereas the price of the Prime falls between Rs 14.49 lakh and Rs 17.19 lakh in India. All prices are ex-showroom.
