A range of prominent automobile manufacturers, including Tata Motors, Honda, Mahindra, Hyundai, and more are providing a variety of discounts as 2023 draws to a close. Speaking of Tata Motors, the leading Indian carmaker is providing up to Rs 1.5 lakh off in the form of various offers and price reductions on a few models from its portfolio. Going into further details, a discount of up to Rs 60,000 is being offered by the manufacturer on its well-liked hatchback, the Tiago. These benefits, which are available to prospective customers until December 31, 2023, take the shape of cash discounts, exchange bonuses, and corporate discounts. This month, Tiago petrol variants come with cash discounts of up to Rs 40,000, exchange bonuses of up to Rs 15,000, and corporate discounts of Rs 5,000. On the other hand, there is a cash discount of up to Rs 30,000, an exchange incentive of up to Rs 15,000, and a corporate discount of Rs 5,000 for the CNG models. Factors like location, dealership, version, colour option, and stock availability, may affect these offers.

Tata Tiago: Variants and Colour Options
In terms of cost, the Tiago hatchback is priced between Rs 5.60 lakh and Rs 8.15 lakh. All mentioned figures are ex-showroom prices. It can be had in a total of six variants: XE, XM, XT(O), XT, XZ, and XZ+. The car is available for purchase in five paint jobs: Arizona Blue, Daytona Grey, Opal White, Flame Red, and Midnight Plum.
Tata Tiago: Powertrain Details
Coming to the mechanical specifications, a 1.2-litre petrol mill with a maximum power output of 85bhp and a peak torque production of 113Nm powers the Tata Tiago. Either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission can be used with the engine. Meanwhile, the engine cranks out 72bhp and 95Nm in CNG models, and it is mated to a sole 5-speed manual gearbox.

A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, an 8-speaker sound system, a digital driver's display, and automated climate control are some of the features of the vehicle. It has dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and cornering stability control for further safety.

Tata Motors November 2023 Sales
In the preceding month, the carmaker delivered 46,143 passenger vehicles (ICE and EV combined). This signifies a 1 per cent decline on an annual basis in contrast to the 46,425 PVs that were sold during the same time frame in 2022. Tata Motors delivered 46,068 passenger models to the domestic market. Additionally, the firm only shipped 75 cars last month, an 81 per cent decrease in shipments from November 2022, when they shipped 388 cars. Moving on to electric cars, the company saw a 7 per cent YoY rise in sales, delivering 4,761 EVs both domestically and abroad, compared to 4,451 units sold in November of the previous year.
The manufacturer reported 72,647 cars sold in total domestic sales (PV + CV) in November 2023, a 1 per cent decrease from the 73,467 cars sold in the same month the previous year. A total of 28,029 units were supplied by the company to the commercial sector, a 4 per cent reduction from the 29,053 units delivered in November last year. The homegrown auto major's domestic sales of commercial vehicles fell by 3 per cent to 26,576 in November 2022 from 27,430 units. Moreover, the company's export division delivered 1,450 CVs, a decrease of 11 per cent from the 1,623 units shipped in November of the previous year.
