Tata Safari Waiting Period Stretches up to 4 Weeks in India

The 2023 Safari was rolled out by Tata Motors in the Indian market in February this year with a price tag of Rs 15.65 lakh (ex-showroom). The premium SUV is available in seven trim levels, three editions, and six distinct colour schemes. The revised model has also received enhancements to ADAS and other safety features. The Safari currently has a two to four-week waiting period starting on the day of booking. This is applicable to reservations done in the Mumbai region, however, it may change according to the model, version, colour scheme, retail outlet, and other variables. 2023 Tata Safari: Engine and Gearbox

Speaking of the mechanical details, the Tata Safari SUV has a new, improved drivetrain. This new engine, which is a modified version of the previous 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel engine, generates a respectable 350Nm of peak torque and 168bhp of maximum power. In addition, the updated new powertrain now conforms with the most recent RDE emission standards. The new Tata Safari SUV continues to be available with two different gearbox options. Interested buyers may opt for either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic gearbox for the 2023 Tata Safari SUV. Despite this, the homegrown carmaker still does not offer the Safari SUV with all-wheel drive.

2023 Tata Safari: Features

Recent updates include the addition of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) in the all-new Tata Safari SUV, bringing along active safety features like autonomous emergency braking (AEB), traffic sign recognition, high beam assist, blind-spot detection, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, forward and rear collision alert, and door open alert. A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto connectivity, a 360-degree surround-view camera system, a new 7-inch digital instrument cluster, 200 voice commands (6 languages), 6-way power adjustable driver seats with memory, and a host of other new features are also included in the 2023 iteration of the SUV.

Tata Safari, Harrier: June Discounts

Meanwhile, this may be the perfect time to purchase a car from Tata Motors if you're planning to. For this month, the manufacturer is providing a number of discounts on some of the popular models in its lineup, including the Tata Altroz, the Harrier, the Tiago, the Tigor, and the Safari. These benefits come in the form of cash discounts, consumer schemes, and corporate offers. The advantages are applicable for June on these vehicles with petrol, diesel, and CNG engine options. It is important to note that these discounts may vary based on location and stock availability. 

Both the Harrier and the Safari SUVs have gotten discount offers of up to Rs 35,000. On all variants of the two SUVs, a corporate discount of up to Rs 10,000 can be availed of, and an exchange discount of up to Rs 25,000 is also being given. However, neither the Harrier nor the Safari is provided by the company with customer benefit plans. The cost of the Safari SUV is between Rs 15.65 lakh and Rs 25.01 lakh, while the price of the Harrier SUV falls between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 24.07 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom Delhi).
