Tata Motors has rolled out some discounts and offers for new car buyers in India. For the month of May, the homegrown manufacturer is offering its customers to bring home a Tata car at up to Rs 35,000 off on the market cost. But, these benefits are available across some select SUVs and cars that include the Tata Safari, Harrier, Altroz, Tiago, and the Tigor. No discount is being offered on the Tata Nexon, the Tata Punch, and any of the electric vehicles. The significant incentives announced by the company can be had in the form of cash discounts, exchange bonuses, and corporate offers. Notably, these discounts shall be treated valid till May 2023. Now, let us start with the biggest discount on the list below:
Tata Safari, Harrier: Discounts & Offers in May
The Tata Safari and the Harrier get the maximum discount of up to Rs 35,000 in terms of an exchange bonus and a corporate discount. The break-up of the lucrative discounts is as follows - an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 and a corporate offer of Rs 10,000. This break-up applies to all the variants. The Tata Safari currently ranges between Rs 15.65 lakh and Rs 25.01 lakh (ex-showroom). While the Tata Harrier is priced from Rs 15 lakh to Rs 24.07 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Tata Safari and the Harrier draw power from a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder Kryotec diesel engine that is BS6 Phase II-compliant. This engine can churn out 168bhp at 3,750rpm and 350Nm between 1,750 and 2,500rpm. For transmission duties, both models are compatible with both a six-speed automatic and a six-speed manual gearbox.
Tata Tigor, Tiago, Altroz: Discounts & Offers in May
The Tata Tigor has offers to the tune of Rs 33,000 that include an exchange bonus, a consumer scheme benefit, and a corporate discount, which is available only with the car's petrol variants. Now, the petrol version with a manual transmission can be had only with a consumer scheme benefit of Rs 20,000 and an exchange discount of Rs 10,000. On the other hand, both petrol-AMT and CNG variants offer an exchange discount of Rs 10,000 and a consumer scheme benefit of Rs 15,000. In terms of pricing, the Tigor stands between Rs 6.30 lakh and Rs 8.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
As for the Tata Tiago, customers can avail of the maximum benefit of up to Rs 30,000, comprising a consumer scheme benefit of Rs 20,000 and an exchange discount of Rs 10,000. But, this is being offered only on the XT, XT Rhythm, XT NRG manual, and XZ+ petrol variants. Also, the Tiago CNG comes with a consumer benefit of Rs 10,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000, and an additional corporate discount of Rs 5,000. The hatchback is priced from Rs 5.60 lakh to Rs 8.11 lakh (ex-showroom).

Last but not least, the Tata Altroz is available at a discount of up to Rs 28,000. The company offers discounts in the form of a consumer scheme benefit, an exchange discount, and a corporate offer. The petrol with MT version offers a consumer benefit of Rs 10,000, an exchange discount of Rs 10,000, and a corporate discount of Rs 3,000. While both petrol-DCT and diesel variants have a consumer benefit of Rs 15,000, an exchange discount of Rs 10,000, and a corporate discount of Rs 3,000. As of now, the Altroz retails between Rs 6.60 lakh and Rs 10.50 lakh (ex-showroom).
