For the month of April, Tata Motors has announced discounts and offers on their SUVs - the Safari and the Harrier. The discounts are available in the form of exchange bonuses and corporate discounts. However, there are no discounts or benefits to be had in terms of a cash discount. It is important to note that these offers can be availed of by the customers till April 30, 2023. The models are packed with hi-tech features and use BS6 Phase II-compliant engines. In a recent development, the Indian auto manufacturer launched the Dark Edition of the Nexon EV Max for the home market, with prices starting at Rs 19.04 lakh (ex-showroom). It is the first SUV in the Nexon lineup to get a 10.25-inch touchscreen. Now, let's get down to looking at the discounts offered on the Harrier and the Safari.

Tata Safari, Harrier: Discounts & Offers
As of now, the Tata Safari and the Harrier get the maximum benefit of up to Rs 35,000 in terms of an exchange bonus and a corporate discount. The break-up of the discount includes an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 and a corporate offer of Rs 10,000. It is to be noted that these offers will vary depending on the variant, region, and dealership.
The Tata Safari currently ranges between Rs 15.65 lakh and Rs 25.01 lakh (ex-showroom). While the Tata Harrier is priced from Rs 15 lakh to Rs 24.07 lakh (ex-showroom).
Tata Safari, Harrier: ADAS & Other Features
The Tata Safari and the Harrier come equipped ADAS functionalities that include autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, rear collision warning, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot detection, lane departure warning, lane change alert, high beam assist, and so on.
Furthermore, the Safari offers a 10.24-inch Harman touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, a seven-inch digital TFT instrument cluster, a wireless charger, a 360-degree surround view, an electric driver seat with memory function, ventilated seats, and a panoramic sunroof with mood lighting, depending on the variant. On the other hand, the Harrier gets a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a new fully digital instrument cluster, and a six-way power adjustable driver seat with memory and welcome function, a 360-degree camera, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, wireless charging, iRA-connected car technology, and more.

Tata Safari, Harrier: Powertrain & Gearbox
In terms of powertrain, the Tata Safari and the Harrier draw power from a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder Kryotec diesel engine that is BS6 Phase II-compliant. The engine can generate 168bhp of maximum power at 3,750rpm and 350Nm of peak torque between 1,750 and 2,500rpm. For transmission duties, both models are compatible with both a six-speed automatic and a six-speed manual gearbox.
