Tata Nexon.ev Waiting Period Reaches up to 8 Weeks in India

The 2023 Tata Nexon.ev, which was launched in September of this year, is one of the brand's most popular electric vehicles. It has a waiting period of six to eight weeks from the date of booking in November 2023. With the 2023 update, the SUV has gained several upgrades over its predecessor and is priced at Rs 14.74 lakh ex-showroom (Starting price). The redesigned electric car boasts a sleek and contemporary style and comes in seven vibrant hues. It features a split headlight arrangement, a new grille, and reworked bumpers, among other aesthetic enhancements. An LED light strip the width of the EV's nose serves as a charging status indicator. Further, the electrified SUV rides on new 16-inch alloy wheels with aerodynamic design. 2023 Tata Nexon.ev: Mechanical Specifications

The 2023 Tata Nexon Electric is available in two battery specifications: Long Range (LR) and Medium Range (MR). The long-range version includes a bigger 40.5kWh battery, while the medium-range version comprises a smaller 30kWh battery.  The ARAI states that the driving ranges of the MR and LR models are 325 and 465 kilometres, respectively, which is an increase of around 12 kilometres over the previous figures. Talking about the performance, the LR variant generates 215Nm of peak torque and 127bhp of maximum power, while the MR version produces 143bhp and 215Nm. It is worth noting that the torque value has dropped by 30Nm on the MR model and by 38Nm on the LR variant, while the power outputs remain unaffected.

The electric Nexon boasts a bunch of features, including a 9-speaker JBL sound system with a subwoofer, a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, cruise control, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, Alexa and Google voice assistants, and more. Moreover, a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen is offered on the higher-spec variants. As far as safety is concerned, the redesigned Tata EV gets blind spot monitoring, ISOFIX child seat mounts, automated headlights, a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, six airbags as standard, and rain-sensing wipers, among others.
