Tata Motors has unveiled its inaugural electric vehicle (EV) exclusive showroom in Gurugram, a significant stride in the company's commitment to sustainable mobility. With its one-of-a-kind Sohna Road dealership set to open to the public on January 7, 2024, Tata Motors is showcasing its commitment to sustainable transportation and a greener future. Going forward, the business intends to open electric vehicle (EV) showrooms in two or three other cities where EV sales are very strong.

Featuring a unique colour palette and design, the new EV showroom showcases Tata Motors' dedication to the environment. These dedicated areas for electric vehicles will eventually develop into all-inclusive "3S" centres that provide sales, service, and assistance for replacement parts. DC fast charging stations will be installed in these premium showrooms by Tata Motors as part of their dedication to improving the EV ownership experience. Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai are some of the locations where electric vehicles are more popular, and Tata Motors plans to open two or three stores in these areas in the next twelve to eighteen months.

The use of recycled and recyclable materials, such as unfired clay bricks and recycled plastic walls, as well as an abundance of natural light and sensor-driven LED lights contribute to the environmentally aware design of each showroom, which also features a separate workshop for aftersales services. Tata Motors is planning to provide yoga classes and other events as part of its Evolve community, which is all about being green. The company will also provide a space for its partners to display eco-friendly items. In addition, showrooms are prepared to receive recyclables, so customers can simply drop off their waste.

Upcoming Tata  EVs

As part of its larger strategy to introduce seven new models, Tata is planning to offer three new electric SUVs in 2024. Notable among these are three electric vehicles.

Tata Curvv EV

Tata Curvv 1

The Tata Curvv EV, an all-new SUV coupe that will slot in between the current Tata Nexon EV and the forthcoming Tata Harrier EV, will make its debut in 2024. Similar to the new Nexon EV, it is expected to include ADAS, a large 12.3-inch infotainment unit, and touch-based climate control.

Tata Punch EV

Speculation over the Tata Punch EV, which is expected to take centre stage in Tata's 2024 lineup, has been building since 2023 when spy images of the vehicle began appearing online. This forthcoming electric micro SUV is expected to be launched in 2024 and will likely look similar to the updated Nexon but with some new features added to its design.
