Upcoming Tata Cars
Tata Motors will shortly shift into high gear, launching multiple products in India over the next few months. An intriguing aspect is that every one of its planned vehicles will aim to fill niche markets.
The first awaited launch from the brand will come in the form of the Altroz Racer. The Racer edition gives the Altroz nameplate a sporty edge with improvements to the exterior like a striking grille, a blacked-out bonnet with racing stripes, and elegant 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. With its modified touchscreen unit, digital instrument cluster, 360-degree camera, and heads-up display, the interior offers an opulent experience. It has a potent 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol mill that is solely mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
Next up on the list is the Curvv SUV. The model is based on the impressive Curvv concept and retains the innovative styling showcased at the Auto Expo. Expect interior improvements for the production-ready version, even though the coupe design is still striking. While the exact specs are still under wraps, the battery should provide a driving range of 450–500 kilometres.
The Punch facelift is another model creating a lot of buzz ahead of its official launch. The upcoming offering, which is anticipated to arrive before the end of the year, has a fresh look that was inspired by the Punch EV's unique style. The SUV is probably going to stay the same underneath, which means that the 1.2-litre NA petrol engine will still be offered. This motor produces 85bhp and 113Nm, coupled to either an AMT gearbox or a five-speed manual gearbox. A CNG version with 73bhp and 103Nm will be on offer as well.
