The eagerly anticipated Tata Curvv SUV, a striking addition to Tata Motors' portfolio, has garnered immense attention in India. Known for its futuristic design, advanced features, and robust performance, the Curvv has quickly become a hot favourite among automobile enthusiasts. However, this overwhelming demand has led to a waiting period of up to three months for potential buyers. Tata Motors has cited unprecedented interest and high booking volumes as key reasons for the delay, underscoring the SUV's popularity. With its blend of cutting-edge technology and Tata's hallmark reliability, the Curvv continues to attract a diverse customer base. While the extended waiting period may test the patience of buyers, it reflects the strong market appeal of this innovative SUV.

Tata Curvv Petrol, Diesel and EV Variants: Waiting Period
The Tata Curvv EV has garnered significant interest, resulting in a waiting period of up to four weeks. To meet this high demand, Tata Motors is prioritising efficient order fulfillment to ensure timely deliveries. The EV comes with two battery pack options: a 40.5kWh unit for the lower trims and a 55kWh unit for the higher-end variants. Both configurations are equipped with a 165bhp electric motor, allowing the Curvv EV to sprint from 0 to 100km/h in 8.6 seconds and achieve a top speed of 160km/h.
The entry-level Curvv petrol model is powered by a 1.2-litre Revotron turbocharged engine, producing 118bhp of maximum power and 170Nm of peak torque. The Smart variant, which comes with a manual transmission, has a waiting period of over three months. In contrast, the Pure, Creative, and Accomplished trims with the same engine and manual gearbox are estimated to be available in about two months. However, variants equipped with the automatic transmission coupled to this engine face a slightly longer wait time of roughly three months.
The Tata Curvv’s 1.2-litre TGDI Hyperion turbocharged petrol engine is offered exclusively in the Creative and Accomplished trims. Models with a manual transmission can be delivered within two months, while those with automatic transmissions have a waiting time of approximately three months.

Meanwhile, the Curvv diesel is available in Smart, Pure, Creative, and Accomplished trims. The base-spec Smart variant, featuring a 1.5-litre diesel engine paired with a manual gearbox, has a waiting period of just over two months. Other diesel variants with manual gearboxes, including Pure, Creative, and Accomplished trims, are expected to be delivered in about a month. For all diesel variants equipped with automatic transmissions, the waiting period stands at roughly two months.
