Suzuki Motorcycle India has released its April 2024 sales figures. The manufacturer sold 88,067 units, hitting a record-breaking pace for domestic sales. Compared to 67,259 units sold in April 2023, the two-wheeler giant's domestic sales increased by 31 per cent this April. Furthermore, in April 2024, cumulative sales (domestic + exports) surged by 12 per cent to 99,377 units, compared to 88,731 units sold in the same month last year. However, Suzuki's export sales decreased by 47.33 per cent from 21,472 units in April 2023 to 11,310 units last month. On the other hand, Hero MotoCorp, the two-wheeler market leader, sold 5.33 lakh units last month, representing a 34.7 per cent YoY growth.

Production Milestone
Suzuki had a busy April as it reached the 80-lakh-unit two-wheeler production milestone in the 19th year of its operations in India. The Suzuki Avenis 125 scooter, the 80,00,000th vehicle produced by the company, was rolled out from its manufacturing plant. The brand's rapid expansion in recent times can be attributed to well-known models such as the Suzuki Access 125, Burgman Street 125, Gixxer 150, and Gixxer 250. Suzuki also unveiled the Hayabusa 25th Anniversary Celebration Edition, bringing the global special edition to our shores.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Model Lineup
Suzuki India's current model range includes bikes such as the Gixxer SF, Gixxer, Gixxer SF 250, Gixxer 250, and V-strom SX. The company additionally manufactures several big bikes, like the supersport Hayabusa, Katana, and V-Strom 800DE. Meanwhile, the scooter lineup comprises Avenis, Access 125, Burgman Street, and Burgman Street EX.
