Suzuki Motorcycle India Hits Record Sales, Sells Over 12 Lakh Units in FY2025
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) sold 1.26 lakh units in March, showing a 21% growth from 1.04 lakh units sold last year.

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) registered its highest-ever sales in FY25, with a total of 12.56 lakh units, reflecting an impressive 11% growth from the 11.34 lakh units sold in FY24. The surge was primarily driven by a robust 14% rise in domestic sales, which reached 10.46 lakh units, up from 9.21 lakh units the previous year. While exports experienced a slight dip of 1.12%, with a decrease of 2,394 units to 2.10 lakh units, Suzuki's overall performance in FY25 remains strong. The positive momentum, especially in the Indian market, along with solid sales in March 2025, highlights a successful year for the company.
Suzuki Motorcycle India March 2025 Sales
Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) had the highest-ever sales of 1.26 lakh units in March of this year, representing a growth of 21% from the 1.04 lakh units sold during the same month last year. A significant driver of this success was the growth in domestic sales, which surged by 23% to 1.06 lakh units, up from last year’s 86,164 units. Exports also saw a positive uptick, with a total of 20,194 units shipped, surpassing the 17,505 units exported in March 2024.

Expressing his views on SMIPL’s sales performance, Mr. Mitsumoto Watabe - Operation Manager, Sales & After Sales, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd., said, ‘We are sincerely grateful to our customers, dealer partners, and team members for helping us achieve our highest-ever annual sales of 12.56 lakh units in FY2024-25. Our sales have doubled in just 4 four years, reflecting the continued trust our customers have placed in us by choosing Suzuki products, opting for authorised service workshops, and using genuine parts. This growth was further driven by the launch of the new Suzuki Access, where our dealers and team focused on delivering a complete product experience through test rides. Additionally, initiatives like Suzuki Matsuri and regional events like mileage contests helped us connect more closely with our customers.’

He also added ‘As we step into the new financial year, we are geared up for the launch of our first electric scooter – the Suzuki e-Access.
