The brand-new and eco-friendly Streetwind Eco Riding Jacket is the latest product from the Royal Enfield Apparel firm, which started in 2014. According to the manufacturer, the all-new riding jacket costs Rs 5,950 and is made purely of recycled materials, including nylon Cordura, polyester mesh fabric, and polyester shell fabric. The brand has also reused 75 plastic PET bottles for each jacket. Further, this jacket has 90% Ventilated Mesh and ecological materials that add to its breathability. Also, portable convenience has been made possible by its lightweight design, which permits unfettered movement while riding.
Royal Enfield claims that by recycling 412K plastic bottles to make 5400+ eco-friendly jackets, they are preventing 2 cubic metres of plastic bottle garbage from ending up in landfills and reducing CO2 emissions by 14 tonnes. Additionally, the zero-liquid discharge approach has allowed for effective water recycling throughout the manufacturing process.
