In September last year, Chennai-based Royal Enfield launched a motorcycle rental programme in India – Royal Enfield Rentals. Partnering with rental service providers, the initiative enabled access for riders to rent a bike anywhere in the country. Building on that, a new programme is here. Called Rentals and Tours, it is a comprehensive platform that Royal Enfield says will serve as an ultimate enabler for explorers looking to embrace novel motorcycle experiences across the globe.
The programme allows riders to rent a motorcycle from a wide range of Royal Enfield offerings across 60+ destinations in 25+ countries, including India, France, Italy, Scotland, Spain, Turkey, Peru, Ecuador, Argentina, Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Morocco, Namibia, South Africa, Nepal, and Bhutan. Moreover, the programme helps you book a tour globally through a network of experts and trusted partners of Royal Enfield or curate self-guided trips.
"Royal Enfield has long been associated with epic journeys of exploration, with enthusiasts traversing countries, and continents on our motorcycles for decades. We believe we deeply understand the desire for adventure and to discover the world on two wheels. The Royal Enfield Rentals and Tours programme not only simplifies the logistics of motorcycle tourism; it also opens a world of new opportunities for those with the spirit of adventure in their hearts. With one of the world’s largest motorcycling communities, we believe this initiative will not just fortify but also expand Royal Enfield’s global motorcycling family, fostering a deeper sense of camaraderie among riders across borders", said B Govindarajan, CEO, Royal Enfield.
Royal Enfield Rentals and Tours: How to Rent a Bike/Book a Tour?
To rent a Royal Enfield motorcycle or book a tour package, travellers need to head to royalenfield.com/rentals and royalenfield.com/tours, browse through the options based on planned destination and time frame, and then confirm their booking interest. A call-back from the tour operator will be organised, to confirm and finalise details of the tour and the itinerary.
Royal Enfield: What Next?
In other news, Royal Enfield, the world's largest midsize motorcycle manufacturer, reportedly plans to launch more than six new motorcycles in the current financial year, including the Scrambler 650, Classic 650, Scram 440, Guerrilla 450, and Interceptor Bear 650, with the latter two expected to launch in the latter part of the year.
