Royal Enfield has launched the Explorer V4 Riding Jacket in India for Rs 11,500. It is available in three different colours—Black, Neon Green, and Grey—as well as multiple sizes for riders with different needs. The jacket's remarkable breathability is emphasised with the incorporation of 600D abrasion-resistant polyester and 3D superflow mesh. It features Cordura patches on the elbows and shoulders, as well as reflective elements in the front and back. In terms of performance, the jacket boasts D3O Level 2 protection at the elbows and shoulders, which boosts impact resistance.
Royal Enfield claims that the Explorer V4 is intended for riders of different skill sets and is built to withstand all kinds of weather. Equipped with these features, the Explorer V4 Riding Jacket distinguishes itself from its predecessor, the Explorer V3, which costs Rs 9,950.

Needless to say, safety is an important consideration when choosing a riding jacket. Royal Enfield's attention to safety is evident in not just D3O Level 2 elbow and shoulder protection, but also 'Ergo Pro Tech' Level 2 armour at the back. The unique chest protector pockets are another excellent safety feature. The recently introduced jacket, according to Royal Enfield, goes far beyond expectations with an independent high-visibility rain jacket composed of 8000mm Nylon for additional weather protection.
