Pininfarina, the renowned Italian design firm, has introduced a new logo to mark its 95th anniversary. Known for its contributions to automotive and industrial design, the company is celebrating nearly a century of innovation and craftsmanship. Sharing his thoughts on the update Silvio Angori, Vice-Chairman and CEO, said, 'This milestone reflects our history’s strength and our vision’s power. We owe our success to our clients, who remain central to our journey. As we look forward to 2025, we are ready to embrace future challenges with innovation and determination.'
The New Logo
The anniversary logo captures the essence of Pininfarina’s timeless principles of refinement and grace. The iconic crowned "f," a hallmark of the brand since the 1930s, has been updated with a sleek, contemporary design. The italicised "Pininfarina" signature from 1961 is now coupled with the number "95," both presented in the emblem’s distinctive red.
To commemorate this milestone, events will take place in major regions, including Italy, France, Germany, China, the United States, and the Middle East. Highlights include the renowned Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in the U.S. and a global design challenge encouraging students to innovate in areas such as transportation, interaction design, and architecture.
These celebrations follow a significant year in 2024, marked by the loss of Paolo Pininfarina, whose visionary leadership defined the company’s direction. Posthumously awarded the 2024 American Prize for Design, Paolo’s legacy continues to inspire Pininfarina’s relentless pursuit of innovation and aesthetic excellence.
