Pawel Szuflak has been appointed as the Director, Sales & Marketing of Skoda Auto India effective June, 2013. Mr. Szuflak, has been associated with the Czech automotive company since 16 years.

Mr. Szuflak will play a critical role in further strengthening Skoda’s position in the Indian market as he has immense knowledge not only about the automotive industry here but has global expertise, which will help strengthen Skoda’s stratergy for the Indian market.

One of the key focus areas for Mr. Szuflak will be to drive the new product launch strategy for Skoda in India. He will also be steering the network and marketing functions for the brand in India.

Bu among the other vital tasks, his priority will be to launch the most awaited car from the Skoda stable – the new Octavia. Mr. Szuflak started his career in Marketing with Skoda in Poland in 1997, and has been part of the automotive industry for more than 16 years. He has worked across Europe & China in the past and has an in-depth understanding of the automotive industry.
