Ola Electric Announces 500 Experience Centres by March 2023 in India
Ola Electric is set to enhance its presence in key areas throughout the nation by expanding its experience centres to 500. Currently, the EV maker owns around 200 experience centres all over the nation.
Ola Electric will have 500 experience centres by March 2023 in India. The automaker has taken this step to strengthen its footprint throughout the nation. Currently, the EV maker has around 200 experience centres across PAN India. The new centres will be established in towns, villages, and cities in Tiers 3 to 4. These touch points will house service stations for prompt maintenance and repair work in addition to the showrooms. Ola Showrooms offer information about electric vehicle (EV) technology and new vehicles. Moreover, they allow buyers to test-drive scooters apart from overseeing post-sale care and upkeep. With an intent to expand its D2C (direct-to-consumer) capabilities, the company aims to develop more showrooms in major areas. As of now, Ola Electric hasn't shared any reason behind increasing the number of showrooms as earlier it reported sticking to an online-only model.
The manufacturer has reportedly decided to go against an entirely virtual business strategy to reach customers due to manufacturing and delivery delays, product problems, and many fire incidents, faced over the preceding year. Notably, the firm's website and mobile app are still the only places for bookings and customers to make payments.

By establishing new centres all over the nation, the company, according to reports, intends to offer its EV fans the chance to purchase, maintain and learn more about vehicles. It further wants to know more about customers' perspectives and make ongoing improvements to its goods and services. With the quick expansion of upcoming centres in tier II and tier IV cities, Ola Electric aims to gain benefits from the fast-growing EV market in India.
