Nissan India launched the fourth season of its Student Brand Manager programme for management students. The company expects to receive over 4,000 entries across 30 cities and only 30 candidates will make the cut.

The big prize this time for the winner of the programme, beside the tag of being a Nissan Student Brand Manager, is the new Nissan Micra itself. Mr. Nitin Tipnis, Director, Sales and Marketing, said. “The deserving student will get a chance to work with the company but this year the additional incentive for their brilliant performance will be winning the new Nissan Micra.”

Nissan India has been running this programme for the past three years and till date has had management students work on projects related to the company’s marketing strategies. Through this programme Nissan gives these deserving candidates the chance to enhance their creative talent in real-world situations.

This year Nissan will engage these management students in creating unique events on their own; from setting up test-drive days at their respective colleges to creating a buzz about brand Nissan.
Nitish Tipnis further mentioned that, “NSBM helps us build our brand association with the young people of India who will be tomorrow’s leaders of the corporate world. This time around, Nissan will specifically look for students who are passionate about driving and automobiles alike. ”
