Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL) has revealed its sales data for April 2023. The company recorded overall sales of 3,249 units last month, compared to 2,140 units in April 2022, which is an increase of 24%. Domestically, the carmaker shipped 2,617 units and dispatched 632 vehicles to international markets. The automaker has revealed YTD sales growth of 23% for FY 2022–23, with YoY domestic sales growth of 8% in March and 24% in April 2023. This growth trend is expected to continue into the following fiscal year 2023–24. According to the carmaker, the growth momentum will sustain because of the Popular Nissan Magnite, which has received over 1 lakh reservations in our market. According to industry predictions, Nissan believes that growth will be in the upper single digits for FY2023–2024.

Nissan India Recorded 10,519 Unit Sales in March 2023
In FY2022–2023, Nissan India sold 94,219 units, which is a 23% increase. It comprises 33,611 units for domestic wholesale sales and 60,608 units for exports. In March 2023, total sales rose by 73% to 10,519 units, while exports increased by 45% year-over-year to 7,259 units. According to industry reports, the exports of the company have significantly increased year-over-year, whereas its domestic sales performance has remained stable. Nissan asserts that the Magnite SUV has been a significant player in its segment ever since its launch in India. The carmaker believes that the SUV has enabled it to nurture in the Indian market.

All-new Renault Duster India Launch Soon?
The new Renault Duster is one of the anticipated 7-seater SUVs in India. The third-generation Renault Duster will presumably go on sale within the next few years. According to market reports, the new CMF-B modular platform. The carmaker will offer the SUV in 5 and 7-seat configurations. With the generational change, the SUV could receive an electric and plug-in hybrid powertrain. In terms of size, the new Renault Duster will be bigger than the older version. The Dacia Bigster concept's body panels and design elements will likely be used in the SUV.
