At the ongoing MotoSoul festival in Goa, TVS unveiled its new and second liquid-cooled engine, featuring cutting-edge technology aimed at boosting performance. Called the RT-XD4, the platform is equipped with a 4-valve dual overhead cam with a downdraft port, ensuring exceptional peak performance and accurate power delivery. It also features a dual oil pump and split chamber crankcase, designed to enhance ground clearance, enable reliable cold starts in sub-zero temperatures, improve durability, and offer precise throttle response. The advanced dual-cooling jacket cylinder head, with a water jacket on top and an oil jacket below, helps to enhance the cooling efficiency and further boost performance output.
Other features of the new unit include a dual separator breather system and advanced thermal management. TVS has confirmed that the first engine built on the RT-XD4 platform will be a 300cc unit, which will make around 35bhp at 9,000rpm and 28.5Nm at 7,000rpm.

TVS is reportedly gearing up to launch its latest adventure motorcycle, which will feature its new platform. While not officially confirmed, the bike is expected to be called the RTX. Based on the previous spy images, this rugged machine will have a tall, aggressive stance for commanding presence and optimal off-road performance. It will be equipped with a long-travel suspension.

Over the last several years, TVSM has been setting benchmarks in riding excellence, made possible by decades of exposure to the race track extensive user insights, ahead-of-the-curve investments, and robust tech and digital capability. We will continue to bring about mobility solutions that can transform the quality of life of people across the world.'
