MG Motor India and WTiCabs have announced a partnership that will allow the former to supply 100 units of its various models to the latter. The fleet of 100 vehicles comprises the MG Hector and the MG ZS EV and will be used for the 'Rent-a-car' business of an integrated travel solutions company - WTiCabs. A signing ceremony took place in Dwarka (New Delhi, India) in the presence of a few executives from MG Motor India and WTiCabs, including Rakesh Sidana, Senior Director of Sales, and Ashok Vashist, CEO, WTiCabs. The partnership agreement will make MG cars more accessible to SUV and EV enthusiasts, according to MG Motor India.

Commenting on the partnership, Ashok Vashist, CEO, WTiCabs, stated, "We value the partnership and look forward to continued sale and services support from MG Motor India. In our constant endeavor to provide sustainable mobility, we will keep adding EVs to our fleet. Our endeavour is to provide sustainable and robust mobility solutions to our corporate clients."
MG Hector: Specs, Features
Introduced in 2019, the MY2023 Hector has been updated with cosmetic improvements, a host of new technologies, and advanced & intuitive features. The car is available with a 14-inch portrait infotainment system, an extensive i-SMART connectivity suite with 75 connected features, a Level 2 autonomous ADAS that includes Traffic Jam Assist, a 360-degree camera, intelligent turn indicators, and more.
In terms of the powertrain, the MG Hector uses a 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo diesel engine or a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine. Its diesel engine makes 167bhp of maximum power and 350Nm of peak torque. On the other hand, the petrol engine churns out 141bhp and 250Nm of peak torque.
MG Motor India officially launched the Hector facelift at the 2023 Auto Expo in January 2023. The new Hector retails between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 22 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
MG ZS EV: Specs, Features
The all-electric compact SUV, the ZS EV, employs a 50.3kWh battery pack and an electric motor that produces 176bhp of maximum power and 280Nm of torque. The SUV offers a claimed range of 461 kilometre on a single charge. The MG ZS EV is priced from Rs 23 lakh to Rs 27 lakh in our domestic market. All prices are ex-showroom.

On the feature front, the ZS EV offers a dual-pane panoramic skyroof, rear-drive assist, a 360-degree camera, i-SMART with 75 connected features, hill descent control, and others.
