As part of its centennial year celebrations, MG Motor India revealed revised prices for its 2024 lineup of car models. The Comet EV, the Hector, the Astor, and the Gloster now have updated prices, while a new base trim for the ZS EV has been introduced at Rs 18.89 lakh for the domestic market. Priced at Rs 17.50 lakh for the diesel variant and Rs 14.94 lakh for the petrol version, the Hector SUV is the manufacturer's maiden product in the country. Furthermore, buyers who wish to purchase the company's more affordable electric vehicle, the Comet EV, will have to shell out Rs 6.99 lakh for the base variant. Meanwhile, the starting prices for the Astor and the flagship Gloster SUV currently stand at Rs 9.98 lakh and Rs 37.49 lakh, respectively. The British carmaker claims that several factors have contributed to the changes in the original price list. Notably, the firm highlights its reputation as a tech-driven automaker by being among the first to deliver advanced driver assistance systems, or ADAS, to India.

Gaurav Gupta, Deputy Managing Director, MG Motor India said, "At MG, we are committed to keeping the customer at the heart of our operations. In continuation with our centenary celebrations, we're excited to introduce 2024 as the Year of Fast Forward, to ensure a rewarding ownership experience for all. This has been made possible due to increased localisation, long-term freight contracts, streamlined logistics, supply chain improvement, and long-term key commodities cost rationalisation."
