Mercedes-Benz India has announced a price increase for its models available in India. The company has revealed that its Indian model line-up will undergo a price increase of up to 5 per cent, which will take effect on April 1, 2023. The luxury carmaker has been forced to make this price adjustment to maintain a sustainable business operation due to a sharp increase in foreign exchange over the last four months and rising input costs. However, the company claims that it will keep providing smart financial options through Mercedes-Benz Financial Services to give customers the most affordable cost of ownership. Additionally, the currency's decline in value in comparison to the Euro, along with rising input costs, such as those associated with logistics, have put significant pressure on the firm's overall operating costs.
