Maruti Suzuki has raised the prices of two of its popular vehicles sold through its premium dealership Nexa. The XL6 MPV and the Ciaz sedan from the auto manufacturer have seen price increases of up to Rs 15,000 and Rs 11,000, respectively. All XL6 variants have seen a consistent price hike of Rs 15,000. The revised prices will be effective from April 1. Coming to the XL6, it is powered by a 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine that generates 102bhp of maximum power and 137Nm of peak torque. It is mated to either a five-speed manual or a torque converter automatic transmission. The Zeta model is also available in a CNG variant. Following the price increase, the XL6 now starts at Rs 11.56 lakh (ex-showroom). Besides, Maruti Suzuki has slightly hiked the prices of its popular hatchback, the Baleno as well. The Maruti Baleno is available in Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha trim levels. All variants have received a uniform price increase of Rs 5,000. Maruti Suzuki April 2023 Price Hike: Here's Why
Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) announced a price increase for its model lineup, effective April 1, 2023. According to the automaker, the price increase was prompted by rising cost pressures caused by overall inflation and regulatory requirements. The company previously stated that it was considering raising prices to offset the impact of these factors. The leading carmaker also emphasised its commitment to cost-cutting initiatives. However, given the ongoing cost pressures, the company felt compelled to pass some of the costs on to customers in the form of a price increase.
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Price Hike
The K15B 1.5-litre petrol engine continues to power only the Ciaz model in Maruti Suzuki's lineup. It is available with both manual and automatic transmissions. Here is a detailed breakdown of its new prices by variant.

Maruti Suzuki XL6 Price Hike
In terms of the exterior design, the XL6 includes a new chrome grille, revamped 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, and a chrome bar on the tailgate. To make it look more upmarket, the company offers it in dual-tone colour options with a contrasting black roof.
Inside, the car has the updated 7.0-inch SmartPlay Pro infotainment touchscreen (featuring a 360-degree camera, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay), as well as ventilated seats, telescopic adjustment for the steering wheel, and wireless charging. The automatic versions include paddle shifters. Other than these, the top-end variants of the six-seater MPV come with full-LED headlamps, automatic climate control, a tyre pressure monitoring system, cupholders, captain seats in the 2nd row, and reclining 3rd-row seats. As mentioned earlier, the Maruti Suzuki XL6 now has a starting price of Rs 11.41 lakh (ex-showroom) after the price adjustment of up to Rs 15,000.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno Price Hike
Maruti Suzuki announced a price increase for all of its passenger vehicles last month. The automaker has now revealed the exact amount of the increase, which includes a revision of up to Rs 5,000 for the Baleno hatchback. There are four different variants of the Baleno: Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha. A uniform increase of Rs 5,000 has been made to all variants. For the uninitiated, a 1.2-litre petrol engine, which is also available in a CNG version, powers the hatchback. The motor's output in petrol form is 89bhp and 113Nm of torque. It is paired with a five-speed manual or an AMT unit.
