The largest manufacturer of vehicles in India, Maruti Suzuki, just registered the best monthly sales in August. The Alto K10, the S-Presso, the Wagon R, the Eeco, the Celerio, the Swift, the Dzire, the Brezza, and the Ertiga are just a few of the company's many models. Through its Nexa chain of stores, the brand also sells a range of premium models. For the month of September, the carmaker is providing steep discounts on their Arena lineup. With the exception of the Ertiga MPV and the Brezza SUV, the firm is offering exchange deals, cash benefits, as well as corporate discounts on nearly all of its models. So, if you're looking to buy a Maruti Suzuki, here's a model-wise breakdown of available discounts.
Maruti Suzuki Swift
Most petrol-manual Swift variants are eligible for discounts totalling up to Rs 57,000, but only the LXi manual and petrol automatic versions are eligible for discounts reaching up to Rs 52,000. Contrarily, discounts of up to Rs 22,000 are offered for the Swift powered by CNG. A 5-speed manual or an AMT transmission is available for the Swift's 88bhp, 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine. It competes with vehicles like the Tata Tiago and the freshly updated Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
The hatchback has a 7-inch Smart Play infotainment system, a dual-pod instrument cluster, taillights, and an idle start/stop feature. The top-spec variants have amenities like automatic air conditioning, cruise control, electrically adjustable ORVMs, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
Maruti Suzuki Wagon R
On all manual Wagon R models with the 67bhp, 1.0-litre, and 82bhp, 1.2-litre petrol engines, Maruti Suzuki is providing a total savings of up to Rs 52,000. The petrol-AMT variants, however, have advantages of up to Rs 30,000. Benefits of up to Rs 52,000 are also available for the CNG-powered VXi and LXi models. This tallboy hatchback was built on the Heartect platform, which also serves as the framework for other Maruti Suzuki vehicles. With features like sweptback halogen headlights, alloy wheels, ORVMs with turn indicators, tall taillights, etc., this model offers a straightforward yet modern exterior. The car's large, welcoming interior provides plenty of head- and legroom for every passenger. This vehicle boasts a touchscreen infotainment system, power windows, and a multi-function steering wheel.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire
Similar to the Swift, this sedan has an 89bhp, 1.2-litre DualJet petrol engine that may be paired with a 5-speed manual or an AMT transmission. This month, the Dzire's AMT and MT variants both receive discounts of up to Rs 17,000, while the CNG variants can be had for Rs 7,000 in savings. In terms of market competition, the Dzire competes against the Hyundai Aura, the Honda Amaze, and the Tata Tigor.
