Several automakers, including Honda, and Volkswagen, have announced tempting discounts in April to clear out their inventory and attract more customers. Maruti Suzuki is a newcomer to the list that is providing offers of up to Rs 1.5 lakh on several cars, including the Jimny off-roader, and the Baleno hatchback. Maruti Suzuki April discounts include cash savings, corporate incentives, and exchange bonuses, all of which are subject to vary depending on a variety of factors such as variant and location. Maruti Suzuki Jimny
Maruti Suzuki is offering a cash discount of Rs 1.5 lakh on the MY23 model of the Jimny. The MY2024 off-roader is also eligible for a discount this month, however, the exact amount varies depending on the dealer. The 5-door SUV is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated K15B petrol engine that produces 103bhp and 134Nm. A 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox looks after the transmission, transferring power to all four wheels using Maruti Suzuki's AllGrip Pro 4WD system, which includes a manual transfer case and a low-range gearbox with 2WD-high, 4WD-high, and 4WD-low modes. The Jimny 5-door's ex-showroom price ranges from Rs 12.74 lakh to Rs 14.95 lakh in India. Both are ex-showroom figures.
Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara
The Strong Hybrid variants of the Grand Vitara are available in April with benefits worth Rs 79,000. This comprises an exchange reward of Rs 50,000, a cash discount of Rs 25,000, and corporate benefits of Rs 4,000. The SUV is priced between Rs 10.80 lakh and Rs 20.09 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Grand Vitara comes with two engine options: a 1.5-litre mild hybrid with 102bhp and a 1.5-litre strong hybrid with 114.4bhp. Along with self-charging technology, the petrol strong-hybrid system provides three driving modes: pure EV, hybrid, and petrol.
The strong hybrid engine is accessible only with an e-CVT transmission, whereas the mild hybrid system comes with a six-speed automatic and a manual five-speed gearbox options. This 1.5-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine delivers 121.5Nm of peak torque and 86.6bhp of maximum power when powered by CNG.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx
The Indo-Japanese corporation is providing a discount of Rs 68,000 on the Fronx's turbo-petrol variant. It includes a cash saving of Rs 15,000, corporate perks valued at Rs 13,000, an exchange incentive of Rs 10,000, along with the Velocity Edition package of Rs 30,000. There are two engine options for the Fronx: a 1.0-litre Boosterjet turbo-petrol (99bhp/147.6Nm), and a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol (89bhp/113Nm). Transmission options for the Boosterjet turbo-petrol engine comprise a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission and a 5-speed manual transmission, while the NA petrol unit has a 5-speed manual and an automated manual transmission. In India, the Fronx starts at Rs 7.51 lakh (ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki Baleno
The Baleno hatchback from Maruti Suzuki comes with a discount worth Rs 53,000 in April, which comprises a cash discount of Rs 35,000, a corporate benefit of Rs 3,000, and an exchange benefit worth Rs 15,000. The Baleno has a 1.2-litre Dual-Jet petrol engine that can be mated to either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed automatic transmission. In petrol form, the Baleno produces 89bhp and 113Nm. When operating on CNG, it produces 76.4bhp and 98.5Nm. The Baleno costs between Rs 6.66 lakh and Rs 9.88 lakh. Both are the ex-showroom prices.
Maruti Suzuki Ciaz
The Ciaz sedan is available for a Rs 53,000 discount this month, which includes a Rs 25,000 cash discount, a Rs 25,000 exchange incentive, and a Rs 3,000 corporate advantage. The Maruti Suzuki model is driven by a 1.5-litre petrol engine that produces 104bhp and 138Nm, with a 5-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed torque converter. The price of the sedan ranges between Rs 9.40 lakh and Rs 12.29 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
