It's raining heavy discounts on the Maruti Suzuki Jimny in July 2024. Interested buyers can save up to Rs 1 lakh on all variants of the off-roader. With Maruti Suzuki Smart Finance (MSSF), they can also get additional advantages worth up to Rs 1.50, depending on the model. It's interesting to note that certain dealers are also offering other discounts like insurance on the SUV, bringing the overall savings to a maximum of Rs 2.85 lakh. Maruti Suzuki Jimny: Under the Bonnet
Powering the Jimny is a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated K15B petrol engine that develops 134Nm of peak torque at 4,000rpm and 103bhp of maximum power at 6,000rpm. A 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic gearbox handles the transmission chores, sending power to all four wheels employing Maruti Suzuki's AllGrip Pro 4WD system, which features a manual transfer case and a low-range gearbox with 2WD-high, 4WD-high, and 4WD-low modes. The fuel efficiency ratings for the manual and the automatic versions of the off-roader are 16.94km/l and 16.39km/l, respectively.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny: Design and Variants
The SUV is offered seven exterior colour schemes, which include two dual-tone options (Kinetic Yellow with Black Roof and Sizzling Red with Black Roof), and five monotone options (Pearl Arctic White, Bluish Black, Granite Grey, Sizzling Red, and Nexa Blue). It has two core variants: Zeta and Alpha. Dimensionally, the 5-door version is 3,985mm long, 1,645mm wide, and 1,720mm tall. It has a 2,590mm wheelbase and 210mm ground clearance.
The SUV features a slatted grille, upright pillars, slab-sided doors, circular headlamps, and flared wheel arches, among other design features. It has 195/80 section tyres, mounted on 15-inch alloy wheels.
Maruti Suzuki Jimny: Features
The 5-door Jimny is equipped with cruise control, a multimedia touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, automatic climate control, ABS with EBD, limited slip differential (LSD), a rear-view camera, and six airbags.

Maruti Suzuki Jimny: Price and Rivals
The SUV is priced between Rs 12.74 lakh and Rs 14.79 lakh in India (both, ex-showroom). It competes with the Mahindra Thar and the Force Gurkha.
