To meet the most recent BS6 Phase 2 and RDE emission norms, Maruti Suzuki updated the powertrains for the entire Arena lineup. To pass on the additional cost of this transition to the customers, the automaker has increased the prices of its vehicles in conjunction with this. As a result, the best-selling MPV, Ertiga, has seen a price increase and now starts at Rs 8.64 lakh (ex-showroom). The automaker has also increased the price of its Ignis hatchback for the second time in 2023. The Ignis is now Rs 2,000 more expensive. The price increase is uniform across all variants and takes effect in April 2023. The cost of the Maruti Suzuki Eeco has been hiked as well by Rs 2,300 for all variants. The updated prices for the Eeco van start at Rs 5.70 lakh and go up to Rs 6.52 lakh for the CNG variant. Both prices are ex-showroom. Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Price Hike
There are four different Maruti Suzuki Ertiga trims on offer: LXi (O), VXi (O), ZXi (O), and ZXi Plus. Following the revision, a standard price increase of Rs 15,000 was applied to all MPV variants. As a result, it now falls between Rs 8.64 lakh and Rs 13.08 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
The Maruti Ertiga is powered by a 1.5-litre K15C petrol engine that complies with BS6 Phase 2 and generates 102bhp of maximum power and 136.8Nm of peak torque. In some variants, the same engine is also available with a CNG option. The engine is tuned to produce 121.5Nm of torque and 87bhp of power in the CNG mode. A six-speed automatic gearbox and a five-speed manual gearbox, respectively, handle the transmission duties. Here are the updated Ertiga prices for all available variants.

Maruti Suzuki Ignis Price Hike
The Ignis' styling, which includes roof rails, protruding rear haunches, LED projector headlamps, and 15-inch glossy black alloy wheels, is its best feature. The interior includes a height-adjustable driver seat, an infotainment system with a seven-inch touchscreen, a dual-tone black and white theme, and automatic climate control. The 1.2-litre petrol engine of the car now complies with RDE norms and BS6 Phase 2 standards. The motor is paired with a five-speed manual transmission and an AMT unit, producing a maximum torque of 113Nm and 82bhp.
The Ignis is available in Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha variants. Prices now start at Rs 5.84 lakh and go up to Rs 8.30 lakh. Both prices are ex-showroom. The new ex-showroom prices for all the Maruti Suzuki Ignis variants are as follows:

Maruti Suzuki Eeco Price Hike
The Maruti Suzuki Eeco comes equipped with driver-focused controls, reclining front seats, cabin air filters (in AC models), and a dome lamp with a new battery-saving function, among other interior features. More than 11 safety features are incorporated in the Eeco, including an engine immobiliser, LED hazard switches, dual airbags, ABS with EBD, child locks for the sliding doors and windows, and reverse parking sensors. Moreover, a flat cargo floor adds 60 litres to the cargo capacity of the new Eeco Cargo petrol model.

Coming to the powertrain, the updated engine of the Eeco now produces 80bhp and 104.4Nm when operating on petrol and is paired with a five-speed manual transmission. On the other hand, the same motor generates 71bhp and 95Nm of maximum torque in the CNG version. For the petrol and CNG models, the fuel economy is also said to be 20.2km/l and 27.05km/kg, respectively. Prices for the Maruti Suzuki Eeco have increased by Rs. 2,300 across variants.
