The Baleno, a high-end hatchback from Maruti Suzuki, went on sale in the Indian market in February last year. The carmaker announced shortly after the vehicle's debut that it had received over 25,000 reservations since opening the order books. There are four different Baleno variants available for purchase in our home market: Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha. If you are planning to bring this popular hatchback home, then there's some good news for you. The waiting period of the Baleno has significantly reduced in India and now varies between one to three weeks starting on the day of booking. It is important to note that the said waiting period applies to reservations made in Delhi and may vary based on the dealership, colour, and variant, among other factors. Meanwhile, the automaker is also offering attractive discounts of up to Rs 45,000 on the model for this month. You can avail these benefits which come in the form of cash discounts, exchange bonuses, and scrap bonuses up until July 31. Potential buyers can contact their nearest dealership for more information regarding the offers.

The carmaker further equipped the latest iteration of the hatchback with several new features. The 2023 Baleno now includes a three-point seatbelt for the centre rear passenger's safety. A three-point seat belt is ideal because it transmits the impact of a crash across the entire body rather than simply the chest, pelvis, and shoulders. The three-point safety belt and an adjustable headrest are now also present in the centre rear seat.
