The XUV700 is one of Mahindra's most sought-after and premium SUVs on the market. No wonder, then, that it currently has a waiting period of up to 25 weeks. It is available in four main trims – MX, AX3, AX5, and AX7 – with prices ranging between Rs 14.03 lakh and Rs 26.57 lakh (both prices, ex-showroom). The SUV is available in five- and seven-seat configurations. In terms of features, it has a panoramic sunroof, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, dual-zone climate control, and a 6-way powered driver seat, among others. Additionally, it gets ISOFIX anchors, an electronic stability program (ESP), seven airbags, and ABS with EBD for safety equipment. Mahindra XUV700: Current Waiting Period
The waiting period for the SUV's standard MX variant is about six to eight weeks. However, waiting periods for the AX3 and the AX5 models are up to six and eleven weeks, respectively. The AX7 and the AX7L, the high-spec versions of the XUV700, have the longest wait times, i.e. up to 15 to 21 weeks and 20 to 25 weeks, respectively.
Mahindra XUV700: Mechanical Specifications
The SUV is available with two engine options – a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol and a 2.2-litre diesel. The diesel engine produces a maximum power output of 182bhp and a peak torque of 450Nm, while the turbo-petrol configuration delivers the highest power output of 197bhp and 380Nm of maximum torque. A six-speed torque converter and a six-speed manual are available as transmission options. Additionally, the AWD system is offered as an option on the higher-specific diesel SUV models.
Mahindra October 2023 Sales
In October 2023, Mahindra sold 80,679 units (passenger and commercial vehicles), including exports, which is a 32% increase in comparison to the same period last year. For the fourth consecutive month, the carmaker earned the highest-ever sales figures for SUVs. In the domestic market, it delivered 43,708 SUVs, which shows a 36% increase. However, the automotive giant supplied a total of 44,264 vehicles, including exports.

In addition, the company provided 43,708 passenger cars domestically, registering a 35% increase in comparison to October 2022. The overall exports in the previous month fell by 33% to 1,854 units, compared to 2,755 units exported in October 2022
