Mahindra XUV400, XUV300 Get Huge Discounts of up to Rs 4.20 Lakh in December
The all-electric Mahindra XUV400 is offered with discounts and benefits of up to Rs 4.20 lakh, while the XUV300, which comes in petrol, diesel and turbo-petrol variants, can be had with discounts of up to Rs 1.72 lakh.
With the year coming to an end, Mahindra is offering some hefty discounts on their cars and SUVs, particularly the XUV400 and the XUV300, in a bid to clear out stocks from the previous model years. The all-electric XUV400 is offered with discounts and benefits of up to Rs 4.20 lakh, while the XUV300, which comes in petrol, diesel and turbo-petrol variants, can be had with discounts of up to Rs 1.72 lakh. While it is a very normal practice for carmakers to introduce year-end discounts on their models, the timing of these discount offers by Mahindra is significant, in the sense that the XUV400 and the XUV300 are scheduled for their mid-life updates (expected to launch sometime in 2024). Before we go ahead with apprising you of the offers available, note that the discounts shall vary depending on the region and stock availability. Mahindra XUV400 Discounts of up to Rs 4.20 Lakh
With the facelifted version of the XUV400 due to make its India entry soon, Mahindra is offering huge discounts on the current version. And by huge, we mean deals of up to Rs 4.20 lakh on the EL variant of the XUV400. But, this applies to models without ESC as standard. On the other hand, the models with ESC are offered with discounts of as much as Rs 3.20 lakh. Also, the lower-spec EC variant can be had with discounts of up to Rs 1.70 lakh.
The XUV400 electric car has a 150bhp electric motor and two battery options. The EL model gets a larger 39.4kWh battery and a stated driving range of 456-kilometre, while the EC variant has a smaller 34.5kWh battery and a 375-kilometre driving range, both as per MIDC.
Features-wise, the electric vehicle is equipped with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with over 50 connected car features, a boot lamp, cruise control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, hill-hold assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system, fog lamps, a rearview camera, 6 airbags, an electronic stability program (ESP), and a pair of tweeters with a 4-speaker audio system. Price-wise, the EC variants range between Rs 15.99 lakh and Rs 16.49 lakh, while the EL version starts from Rs 19.19 lakh and goes up to Rs 19.39 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
Mahindra XUV300 Discounts of up to Rs 1.72 Lakh
Coming to the XUV300, the top-spec diesel variants, W8 and W8 (O), can be availed with maximum discounts of Rs 1.72 lakh, whereas you can save Rs 1.40 lakh and Rs 59,000 on the lower-spec W6 and the W4, respectively. Meanwhile, the entry-level turbo-petrol variants get benefits ranging from Rs 45,000 to Rs 1.63 lakh. Choose the TurboSport version, and you will get discounts limited to Rs 57,000 for the W4, Rs 1 lakh for the W6, and Rs 1.50 lakh for the W8 variant.
Underneath the skin, the Mahindra XUV300 gets 3 engine options: a 1.2-litre petrol turbocharged multipoint fuel injection (TCMPFI, 108bhp/200Nm), a 1.2-litre mStallion turbocharged inter-cooled gasoline direct injection (TGDi,128 bhp/250 Nm), as well as a 1.5-litre diesel unit (115 bhp/300 Nm). In terms of features, this SUV houses a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, cruise control, a single-pane sunroof, and more. For safety, you get six airbags, corner braking control, ABS with EBD, all-wheel disc brakes, etc.
Positioned as a rival to the Tata Nexon and the Kia Sonet, the SUV starts at Rs 7.99 lakh for the regular turbo-petrol version and goes all the way to Rs 14.76 lakh for the top-spec W8(O) diesel version. Prices are ex-showroom.
