Mahindra has confirmed a price hike of up to 3% across its SUVs and commercial vehicle range, effective from January 2025. The company cited rising inflation and higher commodity prices as key factors driving the adjustment. Despite its efforts to absorb some of these increasing costs, Mahindra has decided to pass on a portion of the burden to customers to sustain its business operations. This price increase will impact a range of popular Mahindra models, spanning both the passenger vehicle and commercial sectors. Mahindra emphasised that the decision was necessary to ensure continued product quality and to address the challenges posed by the current economic environment.

If you are looking to buy a Mahindra vehicle, the month of December may be the ideal time to make your purchase, as the brand has announced a price increase across its entire range starting in January. This price hike follows similar moves by other major carmakers in India, including JSW MG Motor, Mercedes-Benz, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, and Audi, who also revealed plans to raise prices from January 1, 2025.
In a statement issued on Friday, Mahindra revealed that its SUVs – the XUV400, Thar, Thar Roxx, Bolero, Bolero Neo, XUV 3XO, XUV700, and the Scorpio-N – will see price increases of up to 3%. However, the company has not disclosed which models will experience the highest price hikes. The increase is attributed to rising production costs, driven by inflation and higher prices for automotive components.
