Nissan has exported over 2,700 Magnite SUVs within a month of its launch. Notably, South Africa is the first country in the world to receive the recently updated car. Nissan claims that since the Magnite's launch in 2020, it has sold over 1.5 lakh units worldwide. It now intends to export the new Magnite to over 65 overseas countries, including those with left-hand drives, to maintain its appeal. For the uninitiated, the revised SUV went on sale in India last month for an introductory price of Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom), applicable for the first 10,000 customers. It is available in six variants: Visia, Visia+, Acenta, N-Connecta, Tekna, and Tekna+.

Nissan Magnite: Engine
The Magnite facelift can be had with either a 1.0-litre normally aspirated (NA) engine (71bhp/96Nm), or a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine (99bhp/160Nm). The gearbox options include a five-speed manual (standard on both engines) and a CVT automatic (turbo-petrol). Interestingly, the NA petrol engine also has an optional five-speed automatic transmission. The SUV’s manual version offers a mileage of 20km/l, while the automated variant has a fuel efficiency of 17.4km/l.

Nissan Magnite: Features
The redesigned Magnite is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless connectivity for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a sunroof, automatic climate control, a push-start/stop button, steering-mounted controls, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster with enhanced graphics, a 360-degree around view monitor (AVM), continuous multi-coloured ambient lighting, cruise control, traction control, rear AC vents, cluster ionizer, ABS with EBD, a new key fob with remote start, six airbags (standard), hill start assistance, USB Type-C ports, and an electronic stability program (ESP).
