Lexus India Registers 43% Year-on-Year Sales Growth in October

The Indian-made Lexus ES was the company's best-selling model in October 2024, accounting for 58% of total sales. Compared to the same period in 2023, the company's sales increased by 14% between January and October of 2024.

Lexus has reported a 43% year-on-year sales growth in India during the festive month of October 2024. For the calendar year ending in October this year, the premium automaker registered a 14% increase over the same period in 2023. The Indian-made Lexus ES was the company's best-selling model in October 2024, accounting for 58% of total sales. The model's performance demonstrates how well luxury vehicles produced locally while upholding the brand’s well-known standards for design and craftsmanship are received by the Indian market.

According to Lexus India, the SUV portfolio contributed significantly to the success, with a 46% increase in October 2024 compared to the same month last year. The RX and NX were in strong demand, indicating shifting consumer tastes in the premium vehicle market.

Other Highlights

The company introduced a 5-year Roadside Assistance (RSA) program on February 1, 2024, and an industry-first 8-year/160,000-kilometre vehicle warranty on all new Lexus vehicles sold starting on June 1, 2024. It also started using premium factory body coating across its range in August of this year, which provides a sophisticated and long-lasting appearance.

Currently, Lexus is holding exclusive clinics and golf events in major cities like Bangalore, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, and Mumbai to increase client interaction. 'These events embody the dedication to creating memorable, value-driven experiences that resonate deeply and enhance every journey with Lexus.'
