The Range Rover Velar, the latest offering from Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) in India, is now available for an ex-showroom price of Rs 87.90 lakh. For Indian car buyers, this good news came after the brand decided to slash the price of the luxury SUV by Rs 6.40 lakh. For those who don't know, there are two engine options for the Velar, and each comes in a single top-of-the-line HSE trim. As a result, both the petrol and diesel versions of the Velar carry the same price tag. The car was rolled out by JLR last year for an initial launch price of Rs 94.30 lakh, ex-showroom. As far as the colour options are concerned, the customers can choose from options like Metallic Varesine Blue, Premium Metallic Zadar Grey, Fuji White, and Santorini Black. In the Indian market, the Velar has major rivals in the form of the Mercedes-Benz GLE, the Porsche Macan, the Jaguar F-Pace, and the BMW X5.
