JSW MG Motor India has introduced MG Select, a new brand channel aimed at the expanding 'accessible luxury' market in India. MG Select will roll out a new lineup of four luxury cars over the next two years, with the first model expected in the first quarter of next year. In its initial phase, MG Select plans to set up experience centers in 12 major cities across India. These new showrooms are designed to enhance the car-buying experience with a focus on high-quality service and a carefully curated selection of models. This initiative aims to meet the increasing demand for luxury cars in India and strengthen MG Motor’s presence in the market.
Sharing his thoughts, Gaurav Gupta, Chief Growth Officer, JSW MG Motor India said, 'The traditional concept of 'purchasing' is evolving, with Indian consumers increasingly shifting towards accessible luxury. MG Select aims to position itself as a key player in this segment by offering an elevated brand experience to new-age customers, who aspire for premium brands. Infused with personalisation and driven by innovation, the MG Select experience centres will offer a curated experience to customers, blending culture, hospitality, sustainability, innovation, craftsmanship, and reimagining luxury.'

MG Windsor EV Arrives on the Indian Market
The Windsor EV is MG Motor's third electric car in India, priced at Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The CUV is available in three variants – Excite, Exclusive, and Essence – and four colours: Starburst Black, Pearl White, Clay Beige, and Turquoise Green. With the launch of the Windsor EV, MG has also introduced a Battery as a Service (BaaS) program, which removes the initial cost of the battery and allows customers to pay only for the battery’s usage. This service starts at Rs 3.5/km for the battery. The first owners of the model will be covered by a lifetime battery warranty.
The vehicle is driven by a single PMS electric motor located at the front axle, producing 134bhp and 200Nm of torque. The company has yet to disclose its top speed. Powering this motor is a 38kWh lithium LFP battery, similar to the technology used in the MG ZS EV. This battery is reported to offer a range of up to 331 km on a single charge.
