Following the likes of Hyundai, Maruti Suzuki, and Tata Motors, Jeep India has now announced exciting deals on its products for this month. As of now, Jeep sells the Compass, Meridian, Grand Cherokee, and Wrangler models in the Indian market. The discount offers on all the Jeep SUVs are good for this month. Interested buyers can take advantage of the offers, which include cash discounts, exchange bonuses, and corporate benefits. It is important to note that the available deals may vary depending on the location, stock availability, variants, and other variables.
Jeep Compass: April Discounts
The Jeep Compass was the company's first model to arrive in India. For this month, the SUV is available with exciting offers of up to Rs 1.55 lakh. These perks, which are similar to those offered on the Meridian, consist of corporate benefits, cash discounts, exchange bonuses, free maintenance for three years, and two years of extended warranty. The Jeep Compass, which takes on the likes of the Tata Harrier and the Mahindra XUV700, is priced between Rs 20.69 lakh and Rs 30.19 lakh (ex-showroom).
Jeep Meridian: April Discounts
Jeep is offering enticing incentives of up to Rs 2.80 lakh on the Meridian this month. The offer comprises a range of incentives, including corporate benefits, cash savings, exchange bonuses, free maintenance for three years, and two years of extended warranty. When it comes to the price range, the SUV retails between Rs 33.60 lakh and Rs 36.97 lakh. Both mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures.
Jeep Grand Cherokee: April Discounts
This month, the Grand Cherokee SUV, Jeep's flagship model in the country, is available at discounts of up to Rs 11.85 lakh. As for its price following the discount, the car is available for purchase at an ex-showroom price of Rs 68.50 lakh. A rival to the Volvo XC90, the Grand Cherokee is available with four drive modes (Sand/Mud, Snow, Auto, and Sport) and four monotone paint schemes – Bright White, Diamond Black Crystal, Rocky Mountain, and Velvet Red. Meanwhile, a facelifted version of the legendary Jeep Wrangler off-road vehicle may soon be released, and some dealerships may also provide discounts on it.
Jeep Grand Cherokee, Meridian, and Compass: Powertrain Options
Under the hood, the Grand Cherokee is powered by a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 268bhp and 400Nm of torque. An automatic transmission with eight speeds is coupled to it. On the other hand, the 2-litre turbo-diesel unit in the Jeep Meridian generates 350Nm and 168bhp of power. It has two transmission options – a six-speed manual and a nine-speed automatic. Only the top-of-the-line automatic model comes with four-wheel drive (4WD).
Lastly, the Compass SUV draws power from a 2.0-litre diesel mill rated at 168bhp and 250Nm. Its transmission options include a six-speed manual and a nine-speed torque converter. The 4x4 system is also offered as standard in automatic models.
In other news, a teaser for the Compass Night Eagle has been released by Jeep India, indicating that the limited-edition model would soon be available in the nation. For those unaware, the Night Eagle edition was introduced by the firm in India in July 2020. However, it was not discontinued until 2023. While Jeep has not yet disclosed the exact launch date of the Night Eagle variant, it is likely to be launched in the upcoming weeks.
