Innova Hycross, Fortuner, Hyryder and More Help Toyota India Register 48% Sales Growth in FY2023-24

In India, Toyota recorded its best-ever sales in FY 2023–24 with 2,63,512 units, a remarkable 48% increase over the previous fiscal year.

Toyota maintained its upward trend in sales with impressive monthly and fiscal year results in India. It sold 2,63,512 units in FY23-24, which is a 48% increase over the 1,77,683 units delivered in the FY 2022–2023 period. The Innova Crysta / Hycross and the Urban Cruiser Hyryder were reportedly the top two best-sellers for the Japanese automaker in the current fiscal year. Industry reports indicate that approximately 88,281 units of the Innova and 42,951 units of the Hyryder were sold between April 2023 and the end of February 2024. The Fortuner, which sold 28,050 units in the first 11 months of FY2024, was the third-top-selling vehicle. In terms of monthly sales, TKM experienced a remarkable 25% year-on-year rise in March 2024. It sold 27,180 units last month as opposed to 21,783 units in March of last year.

Toyota February 2024 Sales: A Brief Recap

The Japanese carmaker posted cumulative sales of 25,200 units in February in India, marking an increase of 61% over the same month last year. It sold 23,300 vehicles domestically and 1,920 units overseas. TKM experienced its best-ever monthly sales in January this year, with 24,609 units sold in total. It was an astonishing 92% increase over the same month last year.
