For safety, the sixth-generation model of the Verna comes standard with six airbags, ABS, and EBD. However, the Advanced Driver Assistant System (ADAS) is available only on some models. 2023 Hyundai Verna: Engine & Gearbox
Talking of the powertrain, the 2023 Verna offers two choices: a 1.5-litre petrol naturally-aspirated engine and a 1.5-litre petrol turbo engine. The NA petrol engine generates a maximum power of 113bhp and a peak torque of 144Nm, coupled with a 6-speed manual or an IVT automatic transmission. Meanwhile, the turbo-petrol unit produces 158bhp of power and 253Nm of torque. For transmission, both a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DCT gearbox are available as options.

Hyundai India Upcoming Launches
In our market, Hyundai is all set to launch the much-anticipated Exter SUV. The SUV will go on sale in the country on July 10.
