Hyundai is ending the year with irresistible benefits on some of its popular models, such as the Verna, Exter, Venue, and the all-electric Ioniq 5. These advantages include cash discounts and exchange bonuses, which vary based on multiple factors such as location and dealership. If you plan to buy a Hyundai this month, now is the perfect time to explore the year-end offers in detail.

Hyundai Ioniq 5

The Ioniq 5, Hyundai’s second EV after the Kona Electric, is available with generous discounts of up to Rs 2 lakh this month. Built on the cutting-edge Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP), the EV has a rear-wheel-drive electric motor paired with a 72.6 kWh battery. This combination produces 215bhp and 350Nm, enabling an ARAI-certified range of up to 631 kilometres. The electric vehicle is currently priced at Rs 46.05 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Tucson

The Tucson, which recently scored an impressive 5-star rating in the Bharat NCAP crash test, is now available with enticing advantages worth up to Rs 85,000, comprising monetary offers of up to Rs 60,000, and exchange benefits of up to Rs 25,000.

The Hyundai Tucson offers the option of a petrol or diesel engine, catering to different performance preferences. The 2.0-litre petrol unit delivers 154bhp and 192Nm, while the 2.0-litre diesel mill produces a more powerful 184bhp and 416Nm. Both variants come with an automatic torque-converter transmission, with the petrol engine paired to a 6-speed gearbox and the diesel engine featuring an 8-speed unit. Notably, the higher-end diesel variants can be equipped with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. The Tucson retails between Rs 29.02 lakh and Rs 35.94 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Hyundai Verna

Hyundai is offering the Verna with compelling discounts of up to Rs 80,000 in December 2024, depending on the chosen variant. These savings include cash discounts of up to Rs 35,000 and an exchange benefit of up to Rs 25,000. The car is also available with an array of special offers, which may decrease the price by an additional Rs 20,000.

Mechanically, the Verna offers two petrol engine options. The first is a 1.5-litre turbocharged unit that produces 158bhp and is paired with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The second option is a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated mill that develops 113bhp and is linked to either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT. The sedan costs between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 17.48 lakh (both, ex-showroom). 

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios

For the year-end, the Grand i10 Nios comes with savings of up to Rs 45,000, including a cash discount of up to Rs 45,000 and exchange benefits of Rs 20,000. For government employees, there are additional advantages of up to Rs 3,000 under Hyundai's 'Pride of India' campaign.

The Grand i10 Nios hatchback is equipped with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 82bhp and 113.8Nm. When running on the dual-fuel setup (petrol and CNG), the car’s output is reduced to 68bhp and 95.2Nm. The petrol engine is offered with either a five-speed manual or a five-speed automatic transmission, while the CNG variant comes solely with a five-speed manual gearbox. The ex-showroom price of the hatch starts at 5.92 lakh and goes up to Rs 8.56 lakh. 

Hyundai i20

The i20 hatch comes with total savings of up to Rs 65,000 this month. The standard variant gets cash discounts of up to Rs 50,000, and exchange benefits of up to Rs 15,000. The sportier i20 N Line, on the other hand, includes cash discounts of up to Rs 25,000 and exchange benefits of up to Rs 10,000.

The Hyundai i20 is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine, delivering 82bhp and 115Nm. In contrast, the i20 N Line boasts a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, generating 118bhp and 172Nm. The i20 is priced between Rs 7.04 lakh and Rs 11.21 lakh. Both are ex-showroom figures. 

Hyundai Venue

The Hyundai Venue SUV qualifies for exchange bonuses of up to Rs 15,000 and cash discounts of up to Rs 45,000. Customers can earn cash savings of up to Rs 40,000 on N-Line models, although the exchange benefits remain the same. A 1.2-litre gasoline engine, a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine are the three powertrain options available for the Venue. The performance-oriented N Line model is propelled by a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine. Price-wise, the SUV costs between Rs 7.94 lakh and Rs 13.53 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Hyundai Alcazar (pre-facelift)

The pre-facelift Hyundai Alcazar is available with savings of up to Rs 60,000 this month, depending on the availability of stock. This discount package includes both cash rebates and exchange bonuses. The Hyundai Alcazar offers two engine options: a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel. The turbo-petrol engine, delivering 158bhp and 253Nm, is available with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DCT transmission. On the other hand, the diesel engine, producing 113bhp and 250Nm, comes paired with a six-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic torque converter gearbox.

Hyundai Aura

The sedan has discounts of up to Rs 53,000 on select variants this December, including cash rebates of up to Rs 35,000 and exchange benefits of up to Rs 10,000.

Mechanically, the Aura gets a 1.2-litre petrol engine, with the added option of a factory-fitted CNG kit. In CNG mode, the engine produces 68bhp and 95Nm, while in petrol mode, it delivers 82bhp and 114Nm. The sedan is available with prices ranging between Rs 6.94 lakh and Rs 9.05 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Hyundai Exter

The Hyundai Exter is available with discounts of up to Rs 40,000, including cash benefits of up to Rs 35,000 and exchange benefits worth Rs 5,000. The compact SUV is powered by a 1.2-litre Kappa 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering 82bhp and 113.8Nm, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. There's also a CNG variant, offering 68bhp and 95.2Nm, coupled with a five-speed manual transmission. The Exter's price ranges from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 10.43 lakh (ex-showroom).
