Hyundai Verna, Exter, i20 and More Get Discounts of up to Rs 30,000 in January

Hyundai is offering discounts on some of its popular models like the Exter and Venue this January. The benefits come in various forms, including exchange bonuses, corporate rewards, and direct cash discounts. They can vary based on factors like the specific dealership and variant. If you're considering buying a Hyundai this month, here's a breakdown of the models that are available with special deals.

Hyundai Verna

The Hyundai Verna is available with a maximum discount of up to Rs 30,000 this month. This includes a cash discount of Rs 15,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000, and a corporate bonus of Rs 5,000.

Under the hood, the Verna comes with two petrol engine choices. The first is a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine producing 158bhp, paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox. The second option is a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine generating 113bhp, available with a 6-speed manual or CVT transmission. The sedan is priced between Rs 11 lakh and Rs 17.48 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Hyundai Venue SUV comes with benefits of up to Rs 25,000, including a cash discount of up to Rs 15,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000. These offers are available exclusively on the 1-litre turbo-petrol manual and DCT variants. For the mid-spec S+ and S(O)+ MT variants (including the Knight Edition) and the 1.2-litre manual variants, the cash discount is slightly lower at Rs 10,000. There's no corporate bonus available for the Venue, but the exchange bonus remains consistent across all variants.

The Hyundai Venue offers three engine options: a 1.2-litre petrol, a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel. It retails between Rs 7.94 lakh and Rs 13.53 lakh (both, ex-showroom).

The Hyundai i20 is available with total benefits of up to Rs 25,000, which include a cash discount of up to Rs 15,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000. These offers apply only to the manual variants. The CVT (automatic) versions are eligible for a cash discount of Rs 10,000, while the exchange bonus of Rs 10,000 applies across all variants. However, there's no corporate discount available for the i20.

The i20 features a 1.2-litre petrol engine that delivers 82bhp and 115Nm. This engine is paired with either a 5-speed manual or a CVT, which generates 87bhp while maintaining the same torque. The Hyundai i20 is priced between Rs 7.04 lakh and Rs 11.21 lakh (ex-showroom, pan India).

The Exter is available with discounts of up to Rs 15,000 in January, which include a cash discount of Rs 10,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs 5,000. These benefits apply to all variants, including both petrol and CNG versions, except for the lower-spec EX and EX (O) petrol variants. There is no corporate bonus on the Exter, but the exchange bonus is consistent across all variants.

The Exter is powered by a 1.2-litre Kappa 4-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that produces 82bhp and 113.8Nm of torque, paired with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. A CNG option with 68bhp and 95.2Nm is also available, mated to only a 5-speed manual transmission. The Exter is priced between Rs 6 lakh and Rs 10.43 lakh (ex-showroom). 

Hyundai Aura

The sedan comes with total benefits of up to Rs 23,000, including a cash discount of up to Rs 10,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 10,000, and a corporate bonus of Rs 3,000. These offers are available on both petrol and CNG variants, except for the entry-level E CNG variant. The E CNG variant gets a reduced cash discount of Rs 5,000, but the exchange bonus and corporate discount are the same for all variants.

The Aura offers a 1.2-litre petrol engine and an optional factory-fitted CNG kit. In CNG mode, it produces 68bhp and 95Nm, while in petrol mode, it delivers 82bhp and 114Nm of torque. The Hyundai Aura is priced between Rs 6.49 lakh and Rs 9.05 lakh (ex-showroom).

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios

The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios is available with discounts of up to Rs 23,000 on all petrol (manual and AMT) and CNG variants. This includes a cash discount of up to Rs 10,000, a corporate bonus of Rs 3,000, and an exchange offer of Rs 10,000. However, the base Era variant gets a lower cash discount of Rs 5,000, while other advantages remain the same.

The Grand i10 Nios is powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine that churns out 82bhp and 113.8Nm. In the dual-fuel (petrol and CNG) setup, output drops to 68bhp and 95.2Nm. The petrol version comes with either a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT, while the CNG variant is available only with a 5-speed manual. Prices for the car range from Rs 5.92 lakh to Rs 8.56 lakh (ex-showroom).
